The company was founded in November 1999 to take our horizontal technology to the market beginning with the energy upstream E&P (Exploration and Production) and the Life sciences R&D industry verticals. We are headquartered in the US. Our wholly owned subsidiary in Bangalore, PointCross India Ltd., provides world class Development and Support Services to global customers.

Our technology comprises the Orchestra^TM meta-data server and the Solo^TM client for the user machines or mobile devices. Together, these enterprise technologies address Unified Business Information, search, security and compliance needs of our customers. Our FDK (Funnel Development Kit) toolkits for building business processes provide complex solutions and strategic business processes to the line of business. Large customers like Shell have not only adopted our technology as a core part of their business information strategy, they have also made Orchestra as a standard portfolio application for their company. We have also sold to several Pharmaceutical companies.

We support them with our training and toolkits as well as our standard integration into platforms such as SharePoint, Windows CE, E/DMS and other third-party technologies including data warehouses for the Life Sciences and other industries.
